Connection Lost / General Network Error (SQL Server)

When your connection timeout definitely we think why we cannot get rid of this error, we also try to go through all the network checkup and all that we can do. Finally, i did solve this issue via Some little things to do.

In this article, we are going to solve this issue.

Open Up the Control Panel in your Windows PC: 


Now type power or power options in the search bar:



When you get into the power options window just choose Never in both the options (Turn off the display & Put the computer to sleep).


You have almost done the change; After doing all this just click the below-given link ( Change advanced power settings. Then the following dialogue box will appear:


From the above options click the + sign of PCI Express and click Link State Power Management + sign, then at last choose Off from the settings drop down menu. now click apply and ok you are done now.

Now just open the Network & Sharing Center and select Windows Firewall below given link.


Just Turn Firewall off on all the Domain, Private, Public Networks. Or you can choose your desired options.




That's it!!! Now it is easy to use the SQL Database without get the error Connection Lost / General Network Error (SQL Server).
